Blue Magpie Film was founded in 2026 by Berlin-based producer Katharina Bergfeld. We develop and produce international feature films, documentaries, and series; for cinemas, streaming and tv.

The company builds on more than 15 years of international production experience, with films screened at renowned festivals including Cannes, Berlinale, San Sebastián, and Hot Docs, garnering numerous international awards. A particular focus lies on developing films for young audiences.
